Lover “shelley” dress, T by Alexander Wang cardigan, Vintage chelsea boots, Marc by Marc Jacobs katie bracelet, Gorjana kingston bracelet, Marc by Marc Jacobs bolt bracelet

I find that some of the most unlikely purchases turn out to be the best, take for example this Lover dress. After viewing the lookbook, this wasn’t one of the pieces that immediately stood out to me, though after spotting it in store I couldn’t resist trying it on. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised, and as one item from my 30×30 challenge I feel as though I haven’t yet worn it enough. The best part? The collar can be detached, making the dress an easy transition from day to night.

I’m just over two-thirds of the way through the 30×30 challenge, and it is only now that I’m beginning to wish I had access to a few more things in my wardrobe. It’s not that I’m bored with what I have, far from it actually. While I’m quite happy to wear some of the same combinations day in and day out, a little bit of extra variety is always appreciated.

I was going to ask if that collar was detachable. How fun. I wish I could find more things that fit properly which didn’t require endless trips to the tailor for alterations. That dress certainly looks very versatile. And congratulations for making it through this far – I’ve only just started reading your blog so I’ve probably missed all the frustrations you may have had with the challenge but you seem to be very comfortable with it now 🙂
