/lookbook: RUBY ‘ An Education’ capsule collection

I would be lying if I said I didn’t have a hidden agenda when I left home early this morning to head into the city. Spending the latter part of the week, excitedly looking forward to the release of RUBY’s capsule collection ‘An Education’, I found myself glancing back at the lookbook images, in the same frenzied way a child will hover over their presents in anticipation of Christmas morning. Inspired by the 60s, the collection is subtle nod to the ‘mod’ look of that era, but with updated prints like the plaid check, black embossed croc, and minnie mouse style polka dots. Sweetening the deal even further are the limited edition goodie bags that are being given to the first 200 customers – although if this capsule collection is as popular as I think it will be, they will have flown out the door already. The lookbook entirely speaks for itself, simple, sweet, and understated – my picks being the ‘pixie’ mini skirt, ‘babydoll’ polka dot dress, spotted ‘minnie’ trousers and matching blouse, one or two of which may be finding its way home to me. Currently available for purchase through their webstore (which ships internationally) and in all RUBY boutiques. Which are your faves? x
