Grana silk slip dress* (also love this alternative), Public Desire heels (high end version)
I think you all probably know by now how I feel about easy dressing, and this little silk slip of a dress is just that. But rather than opting for my standard – classic black, of course! – this rich royal navy shade is all kinds of special, and definitely the kind of dress I could see myself wearing to ring in the new year.
We’re planning to head down to Malua Bay to spend the new year with family, eating prawns by the bucketload, and drinking probably a little too much champagne – a classic Aussie New Years by all counts.
So I think I’ll be slipping this dress into my suitcase (see what I did there?), along with a few pairs of shorts and simple tees, as it adds a little bit of luxe to what will be a fairly laid back evening. I’m always one for multiples, which would explain why I’ve been eying this same number up in black – because why wouldn’t you, right? And the ruby red is pretty cute too. What are you ladies wearing for New Year’s Eve? x

I fell in love with that dress when I saw it on Nicole Warne in red a while back. Still working on loosing those last few pregnancy pounds ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ How would you say the fit is?

Congrats on the baby! 🙂 It’s a loose fit – have you tried their cami’s before? It’s the same just in dress form. I’m a 6-8 and I’m wearing the XXS in these photos (I was sent the wrong size) – think that I would go with an XS normally. Essentially if you’re an AU 8, go for the XS as these are a loose fit. I hope that helps! xx
Thanks 🙂 I am normally an AU 8 but probably between 8-10 now so maybe I will go with XS and hope for the best (if and when they restock!!! >.<) Love the red color, but the emerald is nice too 🙂
