When it comes to getting my hair cut, I’m usually of the less is more persuasion. As in, less cuts at the hairdresser, and more done with varying precision in front of the vanity mirror. This reluctance to visit a hairdresser stems from a series of unfortunate hair cuts which occurred during my teenage years – which was less than ideal during an age of awkwardness, and where fitting in with the crowd has higher importance than all else. It also doesn’t help that I’m not one to forget quite so easily. From jagged edged bobs which have resembled more of a mullet style pixie cut than the French chic vibe I was going for, and perhaps all too often, locks cut just that little bit too short for my liking. But, it’s not all bad, and the good experiences outweigh the negative ones by a mile, which has me thinking, maybe it’s time I hang up my ‘scissors’ and make a return to the hairdresser for my next trim.

Lovin’ the chop – nice job! Your “mullet style pixie” reference made me giggle. 🙂 Great combo and love how what you’re wearing meshes with that wall too. Looking beautiful per usual babe!

Great cut. So fresh and the perfect length. Another really good cut to add to the positive experience list. I had the same issue as you growing up especially with hairdressers that cut off 3-5 inches instead of 1!

I absolutely loathe going to the hairdressers – they can’t do my fringe right to the point that I tell them not to touch it all. But your hair is looking a lot sharper and I like the clean finish. Not all bad eh?

Gorgeous new do! I gave my very very long hair the chop earlier this year and love the slightly more mature look shorter hair has!
