You probably all know by now that Everlane has very quickly become my go-to when shopping around for basics. With Project 333 coming to an end, I’ve been thinking a lot about placing an order to stock up on a few of my favourite styles, in addition to a few more functional basic pieces for everyday.

At the top of my wishlist is one of the pieces from their linen range; at this stage, I’m leaning towards one of the cream linen singlets, even if the thermometer is pointing towards colder climes here in Sydney. This reminds me a little bit of the Isabel Marant singlets, without the exorbitant price tag, and I love the muted colour range.

I’m a huge fan of Everlane’s silk tanks so the silk tank dress is completely up my street, although given the popularity, I get the feeling I’m going to be hard pressed to pick this up in my size any time soon. My favourite pieces from Everlane have by far been from their silk range, so I’ve been thinking about finally pulling the pin on a couple more silk blouses and cami’s to round out my wardrobe a little bit.

There’s no real shortage of coats or jackets in my wardrobe, but I’ve taken a real liking to the swing trench – partly as it’s slightly cropped (which gives a point of difference in relation to the classic trench style) and partly because of the look of the fabric, which is exactly what I’ve been after. This pretty much ticks all the boxes for me so it’s really just a matter of deciding between ‘Tan’ and ‘Sage’…

In terms of accessories, I’m still head over heels for their modern take on the leather loafer, although I still can’t bring myself to pull the trigger in case I end up with the wrong size. Safe to say it would be a pretty expensive mistake. Instead, I’ve been looking more towards their twill bag range; the backpack and carry-all in particular. I’ve read some pretty good reviews about the weekender and also received some really positive feedback about the backpack, so I think either one would make a safe addition to the wardrobe. Luke and I are heading back to Wellington (and then later, Auckland), in October, so I’m thinking that this combo might make a great travel companion for the journey.

Okay so reading back, I’m pretty sure I’ve virtually (or mentally) added almost everything in store to cart… If you’ve had a chance to try out any of these pieces, do let me know in the comments below as it’s always tough deciding on sizing (Everlane typically runs a little on the larger side…), or narrowing down the many, many options.

They have this gorgeous deep magenta/maroon trench that is absolutely gorgeous. I always saw that color on Victoria Beckham and could never find it till now. I am on a french 5 challenge and i used up my quota.

    Great picks.

Yes! I saw that too. I was thinking that the olive or tan might be a little easier to wear although will see. It’s starting to get really cold here now so I might wait until Spring time to pick one up. I still have two items left in my 5PFW challenge as I’m still tossing up what to get, but thankfully most of the pieces I’m after are basics (which surprisingly, I’m yet to add much of to my wardrobe this year!).

Everlane is great. I heard about them last year and now it seems many people are recognizing them. Some things are a bit pricey, but it all seems designer status quality so definitely worth saving for since its much more affordable. I’ve lately been wanting the backpacks they have. And the photos you have here are amazing. Especially the one with the mountain backdrop.
