Everlane heeled chelsea boot in black

I wouldn’t blame you for saying that I’ve gone a little shoe crazy as of late, but if there’s one thing I have a soft spot for, it’s a new pair of shoes. Boot season might be over, but these heeled Chelsea boots from Everlane were too good to resist, and the classic style has me knowing that it’s going to be a shoe that I’ll be looking forward to slipping on next Fall.

While I haven’t had much opportunity to really break these in, what I can say about them is that they are incredibly well made – the leather is thick but not stiff, the heel is just the right height (not too short and not too tall), and it’s worth noting that they tend to sit on the narrower end of the scale (so for girls with wide feet like myself, thick socks FTW). I got these in US9, though I think given my wide feet, I probably could have gone up a size, so keep that in mind if you’re planning on getting a pair for yourself.

Now you all know how excited I get at the prospect – or news – that Everlane is offering international shipping, so I thought as I’d gotten a request, that I’d share some of the things currently on my wishlist…

The oversized cotton poplin shirt dress in white; I’ve had my eye on this dress for the longest time, and am looking forward to finally snapping this one up. It’s so loose, airy and floaty looking that it’ll be perfect for the weekend, but I think I could easily jazz it up with a pair of heels and a blazer to make it office appropriate too.

Twill zipper tote in black; I picked up the zipper tote in the reverse denim earlier this year, and it’s become a real staple for me. It’s such an easy grab-and-go bag, and after seeing a girl on the subway with the black one while in New York, I’ve become convinced that I need to have one of my own in my life.

The heeled oxford in camel; it might feel like summer here in Sydney (tomorrow’s forecast is sitting at a breezy 31 deg C…), but I’m all about these lace up heeled oxfords. I used to have a pair of shoes in a similar style to this back in Wellington, which were part of my every day uniform, and I think I’ve finally found a replacement in these beauties.

Premium ribbed cashmere crew in navy; Everlane’s cashmere is by far one of the stand outs for me, and I’m completely smitten with the recently launched premium range. It’s a little pricier than the crew neck sweater, but I love the ribbed detail and they seem to have nailed that perfect shade of navy.

The cashmere glove in black; I know, it’s summer and I definitely don’t need gloves just yet, but I’ve been struggling to find a pair I like in Sydney and these just sound so deliciously luxe. I have terrible blood circulation so come winter time I’m struggling to fight the chilblains which I inevitably get on my hands, and I have a feeling that these will be the key to winning that battle in 2017.

The cashmere sweatpant in black; it’ll probably come as a surprise to learn that I don’t own a single pair of sweat pants. Aside from the pair which were part of my school uniform at 11, I’ve never owned a pair, and I figured that cashmere was probably a good place to start!

The slide sandal in black; I have these in the sand already, and while they were a pain (quite literally) to break in, I wear these on the daily, even if it’s just to wander around the house. The leather has softened now to the point that they feel like a second skin, and I just love the look of the black pair – they’re basically every minimalists dream!

The cotton poplin culottes in black; as much as I love a good skirt, I’ve been on the lookout for some nice summer-ready culottes to mix things up a bit. These have my name written all over them – midi length, elasticated waistband and nice clean lines.

Are you planning on picking up anything from Everlane? x
