Stripes, light and dark

A little bit of what I’m currently into, a complete mixed bag of seasons, but for the most part, season-less. Breton striped tees whimsically tucked into full skirts or an array of shorts, statement necklaces that make an outfit pop, black on black on black, especially when the luxury of leather is involved, and more recently, all white as it just seems so.. relevant. It’s not quite winter yet, well, actually only halfway through summer, but with the rainy weather we have been having lately, thoughts of cozy jumpers that feel like a dream to wear, and thick woollen scarfs are not far away.

The other point to note is the fresh faces of these natural beauties, something I should be taking advantage of while the days are still warm. Slicking on nothing but a thin layer of mascara, and perhaps a bright lippie, would probably cut down my make up routine to a mere 30 seconds.

Love these neutral and stripes outfit pics that you posted. The second one especially is just classic! Funny how it’s Summer where you are and you’re wishing for the cooler weather while it’s just been gray, gloomy, and miserable here that I’m longing for Summer! (well, we haven’t seen the sun in days and it’s supposed to snow tomorrow!) Thanks for sharing these!

I’m completely drawn to everything about that first look. There’s just something about all black that is so completely chic to me…feel the same way about all white too when it’s done right like the pic you shared. Great inspiration!

I can see why you’ve chosen those stunning looks. Simple chic always looks the best. Like Thersa I’m also favouring the first. I’m a huge black addict! The last pic of the hair cut has really caught my attention. If only I were brave enough to take the plunge I would love that. So much inspiration!

I’m so taken by the first 2 photos. They’re all black but the way she styled the outfits blew me away. Simplicity at its finest.

I love the first look – right up my alley, but for the hat.
Also the statement necklace against the stripes in the third picture is especially stunning.

Such chic looks. I totally agree with you I love a very simple natural look with just gorgeous glowing skin, beautifully groomed eyebrows a touch of mascara and a little gloss.

I’m in love with that first picture. I haven’t been wearing much make-up for a while and I love how many skin is looking and feeling. In this heat it’s hard to imagine how cold it actually gets in Canberra! Will you be visiting again soon? xoxox
