Rag & Bone t-shirt (similar), Karen Walker skirt (similar), Karen Walker x Beau Coop loafers, Proenza Schouler PS11 bag, SGC & KW rings, MBMJ katie bracelet

Keeping it casual over the Easter weekend, which for me rather luckily extends to the Tuesday, a luxury that has me wishing every week included a 5-day weekend. Trying to make the most out out this extra day off, by running some errands, posting off a few things, catching up with friends, and attempting to learn the in’s and out’s of my 30mm prime lens before tomorrow – although perhaps I left that last task a little too late.

Wearing quite possibly the perfect tissue-weight white t-shirt, which for most is a never-ending search, although in my case, a rather serendipitous find on Shopbop. It essentially restored my faith to continue looking for things that are just right, in that moment, rather than settling for something that is note quite so. While this one isn’t available anymore, the ‘basic Brando t-shirt‘ seems like a good alternative, retaining that aesthetically pleasing centre seam at the back, yet not quite so sheer that you wouldn’t wear it to work on casual Friday. Paired with one of my favourite floral skirts, and those minty loafers which I just can’t seem to get off my feet, you almost can’t tell that we’re one month into Autumn.

PS. Over the next couple of weeks you can expect to be inundated with posts on Fashion Week in Wellington and in Sydney. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! πŸ˜‰

You wear Karen Walker like no one else! As always, I love your outfit. I would’ve had the hardest time figuring out what to wear with those loafers (those colours are really tricky to me) but you’ve made it look so easy… inspired! x

I’m with you, it’s important to search items that are the perfect sample of their kind, then they’re definitely worth the money.

Ahhh I just love that autumn is peeping into these pictures – I was admiring trees on the weekend that are starting to turn like those in your pictures. I have stopped wearing skirts and am sticking to only dresses, as I found belts and tucking tops, or looking too small in the upper body got annoying. However you look so comfortable and lovely it can make one rethink that idea! It looks like the waist is elasticised which must make it easy to wear? And cheers to wonderful easter road trips! (the CR blouses I bought feel beautiful on too)
