Taking a moment to talk about classics, like the beige trench coat, which is one of those pieces that almost every woman should have in their wardrobe. I say almost, as the ‘classics’ really do differ when it comes to personal style. For me, I like something that’s a little bit unusual, some sort of twist, like these well placed zippers on my coat. The trench has proven to be invaluable for me during those in between seasons, when my winter coat is too heavy and going without a jacket isn’t the most preferable option. My current favourites that I’ve spotted online are by A.P.C, Mackage and Reiss – while I’m not in any need of a replacement, it’s always good to have a back up plan just in case.

I do love a trench coat. One day ill save up and buy a Burberry one, but there’s lot of other good options out there.

That trench is perfect! I got one for Christmas this past year and it is one of the darker khaki’s so I am not a huge fan of it. I’m saving up for a Burberry eventually 😉 I should do a bespoke one….bye bye $3000 😉

I love the extra details on that trench that amp it up from the others like the zipper deets and the somewhat exaggerated shoulders. And that color works so well with a range of things and the way you styled it is so elegantly chic! 🙂

The zippers & those pointed shoulders really make this that little extra bit special, I love how little details like that can elevate such a classic piece. You look very Parisienne here too with the stripes & colour scheme, really beautiful! 🙂
