Making a statement

Proenza Schouler top, Lover blazer, Topshop skinny jeans, Celine heels, J Crew earrings, Lanvin x H&M necklace, Proenza Schouler PS11 bag

I’m not usually one for bold colours, but I’ve quickly warmed to the idea of wearing a bright red statement necklace, something I hadn’t thought likely to happen, even when going through with the purchase. The allure probably lies in the fact that it feels like little effort is required when accessorizing with a necklace that makes such a bold statement, or something to that effect. It’s finally given me the confidence to add a few more to my jewellery box, in other bright colours like forest green and electric blue, just to add that extra pop to my outfits.

I love the necklace! Red is one of my favorite go-to for a pop of colour! It definitely makes a statement against a neutral outfit. 🙂

I really like this look! The red really does add a special touch. I find myself doing the same with scarves and shawls – they’re usually where I add the pop of color or print.

BTW – Congrats on your Susanna boots! I love mine and they always feel like a little bit of urban armor or something. Makes me feel tough but not unfriendly. More like a little confidence boost, ha.

Love your necklace. Any idea of where to look for similar online – not necessarily the same colour, I’d actually love something like that in bright pink.

Nude, black & stripes! Love this so much & the pop of red from the necklace compliments it all so perfectly! I’ve really been wanting a nude blazer for a while now & that lover one is beautiful, love how clean the lines are on it & that lovely shawl lapel.
