Down by the waterfront

Country Rd breton stripe top, ASOS trumpet hem skirt, Whistles leather jacket, Charlotte Olympia kitty flats, Alexander Wang emile tote, Marc by Marc Jacobs katie bracelet, Karen Walker sunglasses

Over the weekend we were blessed with stunning weather, which is hopefully a glimpse of what is to come during the Christmas break. These are the types of weekends that I believe are best spent part exploring and part relaxing, with my curiosity about the Hobbit festival getting the better of me.

Never one to miss an opportunity to wear a) stripes and b) my kitty flats, it is probably little of a surprise that I wore them both in tandem, yet again. The two in combination seem to be becoming a habit, or an subconscious uniform to which I adhere on a regular basis. It’s either that, or I can’t stop myself from reaching for my daily favourites. What are yours?

Ooh this is such a great outfit! I know it’s cliche, but you really have nailed the ‘sweet but edgy/tough’ look here, and I mean it as a compliment 🙂

Ah, those shoes are sooo cute! Love your top also – when I saw it appear online, I ran to CR to get one but all small sizes had already sold out.
I’m wearing the same thing over and over lately, but nothing is my favourite… I’ve been too preoccupied with other stuff at the moment to care about my clothes – quite sad really.

It is such a cute outfit, my faves now are my oz look jeans, chambray shirt, and a nice full pleated skirt. You look lovely and the flats are adorable.

Love the pairing of the striped top with the printed skirt! Great use of mixing prints! Like how you added that awesome leather jacket to toughen up the whole outfit. As for daily favorites, my burgundy jeans are definitely one of them! 🙂

I really like the mix of patterns here. And I love the Kitty flats more and more every time I see them. I also have to say, I was a bit worried for your bag being so close to the edge!
