Paisley and peplum

Karen Walker dress (similar), Helmut Lang blazer, Alexander Wang emile bag and kori oxford shoes, Mimco starlight necklace

Day two of my thirty for thirty challenge, and I’m already beginning to question whether I misjudged the weather for the month of September, quite possibly anticipating warmth over cold harsh winds (as one would want to expect during a Spring month). I’m about halfway through the process of moving the selected 25 items of clothing to one side of my wardrobe so I have all my options available to me in plain sight – which I am sure to otherwise forget. I figure that the first week, or week and a half will be the easiest, as I rotate through all the things I haven’t worn yet and which still retain much of their appeal – which I’m curious to see whether my feelings towards certain pieces change at all over the next month. Maybe then I will know the joys (or not) of a capsule style wardrobe.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this combo. KW is IT for me when it comes to dresses. I love her prints and the way the dresses are constructed. They’re made for real women so they accentuate the curves and hide the flaws.

that paisley dress is gorgeous, my dear. it actually looks similar to Batik, a pattern in Indonesian culture, and the great thing is we just celebrated our national batik day on Oct 2 πŸ˜‰
