It’s definitely not lost on me that the sun is starting to set sooner, and the mornings are beginning to have the crisp beginnings of the anticipated autumnal chill. But even still, I’m loathe to give up bare arms and bare legs quite so easily, especially when I’m finally starting to warm up to the idea of wearing a little more colour. I’ve always thought that wearing red wasn’t for the faint-hearted. To some extent, it has a certain “look at me” quality, one that I’ve usually steered clear of, up until now that is. Until a burst of bravery strikes, I’ll be toning it down with swishy button back peplum tops, and ivory silk blouses. Baby steps, right?

But you must wear colour more like this! I was immediately struck by how gorgeous the colour combination was – the black with the red and softened with the tan rather than going full on black. Lovely – just lovely.

And the pictures are stunning. Perfectly captured, the fading light, the lush greenness behind you. Can you tell I really love these pics?

Sue I will! I’m slowly trying to buy a bit more colour, although wearing it truly is another thing altogether. Shoes seem the obvious choice in terms of getting out of my comfort zone, since they seem like the last thing most people look at?

Ah and you’re too kind! Last minute snaps while the sun was going down 😉
