The swimsuit

ASOS black peplum swimsuit / ASOS red polka dot ruffle bikini

There are always those things that I just avoid having to buy, like jeans, shoes (surprisingly I bet), and of course, the swimsuit. The past five or so years I’ve relied on the same swimsuit that I purchased while in Melbourne from Zimmermann, as I haven’t yet been able to find a suitable replacement. My last foray into buying one online was unsuccessful, so I’m hoping that I might be able to have a little more luck this time around. For that reason, I’ve been keeping my eye on the swimsuit selection at ASOS, and the two above have currently caught my eye. I love idea of a classic black one-piece, and with the little peplum and ruffles, I get the feeling that this one would suit most body shapes, and as for the red bikini, well, I’m always used to getting that little bit of extra sun on my mid-section!

I still haven’t pulled the trigger on either of them, but am thinking that I’ll probably want to soon, with the summer break getting closer and closer. The question on my mind though is which do I go for, or do I just buy both?

The black for the surf and the red for the pool!

Yea, this year I got two new bathing suits and mostly wore one of them (the other made me look kinda fat so I only wore it a handful of times)…I shouldn’t have gotten the second one..oh wells. What I really want is a We Are Handsome printed suit, but they’re far too expensive… πŸ™
Both of those choices are great! I wouldn’t be able to choose, ha ha.

I say go for both! They’re both so different and cool in their own way and you’d probably wear them both a lot! πŸ˜‰ Great choices!

Completely agree! Bather, jeans and bra shopping would have to be on my ultimate hate list!
Cute choices though – I have a similar black ruffled one piece that I purchased years ago and it still has a special place in my (minimalistic) bather wardrobe.

I’m so drawn to the one-piece suits! xx

The red one is really cute! I always avoid buying shoes too – i think it’s because I know i’m paying for something that will end up giving me blisters and hurting my feet so bad! I don’t own any comfortable shoes! x

While I am in love with the black one, why not just go all out and buy both πŸ˜‰ as they say, go hard or go home!

I wouldn’t know which way to go either. I’ve had my heart set on Princesse Tam Tam swimsuit but I can’t get it in my size πŸ™ Country Road have a gorgeous black piece at the moment too…
