Changes. So, you may have noticed a big change on the blog, most notably that the name has changed from Pagesixxx to Mademoiselle. It’s a change I had been contemplating even before I placed the blog on a temporary hiatus, and one that I think is for the best. Over time, as you discover more about yourself and grow, you no longer are the person you once were. My style has evolved from the days that I would wear towering platform shoes with flouncy mini skirts, into something that I might classify as slightly more grown up, with a focus on classic tailored pieces. If you don’t want to miss out on any of my new posts, I would recommend updating your bookmarks to HTTP://MADEMOIS-ELLE.COM as while I think you will continue to receive new posts via bloglovin and googlereader, I can’t confirm this for sure.
Changes aside, I can say that this weekend has been far from the relaxing one I had envisioned for myself early on in the week. Karen Walker’s new collection entitled ‘Sea Monsters’ launched yesterday, chewing up some two hours of my morning as I tried on what felt like everything in the store, little surprise to most I imagine. As you can see from the bag in my hand, I picked up a few things for myself, including those fantastic red pants with a tie at the waist. Also had an impromptu meet-up with Nina as well as a predictably delicious lunch at one of my go-to spots, Deluxe. Now that the weekend is almost over, I’m trying to figure out where all the time went. This always seems to be the case come Sunday night!

It’s a lot more expensive in the US than it is over here, and we’re lucky that we get really good sales (under $150 with silk dresses coming in less than that, can be good if you score a dress you love) xx
