Perhaps a little (too) inspired by the 2016 Pantone Colour of the Year, all things pink have been slowly creeping into my wardrobe, bedroom, and living room. It’s little surprise that it’s not really much to Luke’s taste (I did manage stop short of going full hog with petal pink flannelette sheets…), though I’m loving the softness that it adds to our home, given that the two of us tend to gravitate to all things black, grey and white. Currently at the top of my home decor wishlist however, is not a couple of new sidetables for our bedroom, but this muted blush velvet armchair from West Elm that I’ve been eyeing up for the better part of this year. Is it too soon to say that I’m fairly certain I can sneak this into our living room post-wedding?
