In Wellington, if there’s one thing that you can rely on, is that most days, the city will be impossibly windy. The kind of wind that whips at your clothes, and takes hold of your hair until all you’re left with is a tangled mess, worlds away from the tousled waves you had left the house with. But there’s a beauty in it. In watching the boats rock up against the marina, and the waves crash against the cliffs. The clouds glide greedily across the sky, creating golden patches of sunlight over an angry and ravaging sea. And it’s in those moments that you forget. You forget the wind whistling noisily in your ear, and you forget those lost strands of hair streaking across your face, and suddenly everything seems just so. Clearly a true Wellingtonian at heart.

Such a lovely outfit, I love the mix of prints and textures πŸ™‚
It doesn’t get nearly as windy here, but when it does it can be rather annoying. Can’t imagine it happening all the time
