The simple boyfriend tee doesn’t quite have the same love affair as my penchant for silk blouses or black high heels, but it’s become a wardrobe staple all the same.
My favourites so far have been at opposite ends of the scale; for the affordable basic, I head to Everlane, and when I’m wanting to splurge a little, Acne Studios does a slim fitting tee well, and in my experience they’ve always been of the highest quality.
I’m a little bit lucky to work in a more relaxed office environment, which means that I can usually get away with wearing a tee tucked into a pencil skirt, with a pair of heels for good measure. On the weekends, I’m definitely become a lazy tee and denim kinda gal; and with the right kind of t-shirt, it’s a foolproof (and quick) combination for looking put together which is truly effortless.

Yea, I used to wear tees ALL the time in high school and the beginning of college and then I stopped. But now I’m back on them thanks to Everlane!

The Everlane ones are great aren’t they? So glad that I took the plunge and picked up a couple. I also wear them to bed as pyjamas 😀
I havent tried the everlane tees yet – my current go-to is the Marcs roll-sleeve tee in white- soft, not sheer so work appropriate and the roll sleeve gives it a little extra. I bought three when they were on sale and was glad i did 🙂

I haven’t tried the ones from Marcs but was tempted to pick up the grey male with je’taime in blush pink on the front during their last sale. Will have to pop in and check them out – thanks! 🙂
I hadn’t worn tees for several years unless exercising, but I’ve been back in to them for the last year. Love Michael Stars and Jigsaw tees for myself and often buy Marcs tees for my sons. They love them and I do notice that they wash and wear well.
