The Net-a-Porter sale

If there’s one thing I can’t resist, it’s the bi-annual Net-a-Porter sales. While I’m not quite as fanatic as I was a couple years back, and multiple reminders in my calendar are a thing of the past, I still keep an eager eye out for those sale alerts so I can have a little browse for something a little special.

I’m in full on wedding planning mode; I think if you’ve gone through this yourself, then you can agree that sometimes the seemingly simple things – like finding a pair of wedding shoes – end up being the most difficult or time consuming, so I’ve spent most of my time browsing NAP for suitable wedding heels (which aren’t too tall) and a quirky creamy/blush toned clutch.

Usually, I use this as an opportunity to pick up some luxe basics, be it a linen tee from Acne Studios, a classic wool blazer from Helmut Lang, or a pair of low heeled sandals from Marni. And sometimes, I use it as an excuse to pick up a special piece I’ve been eyeing up that would otherwise break the bank (and then some).
