Thirds

Kate Sylvester Top, Karen Walker skirt, bracelet & necklace, Glassons cardigan, Alexander Wang shoes, Proenza Schouler PS11 bag

Almost one third of the way through the thirty x thirty challenge, which has so far been a breeze. Although being only nine days through, I guess there is little for me to complain about and I have been realising the opportunity to wear things I love over and over again. I thought that I would feel restricted in cutting off access to little over two-thirds of my wardrobe, but that’s been far from the case so far. Instead, I look out the window to judge the weather in the morning, and dress accordingly – getting ready in the morning has never been so simple, who knew?!

I do love this look, the sweater looks so comfortable! And yes, I imagine it would be quite easy to get dressed with only 30 pieces to choose from! But I think my closet it too disjointed for that XD

I find so many people who do the 30 x 30 challenge say that they don’t find it restricting, but the fear of it being restricting is the only thing holding me back! Maybe I should just give it a go!

That skirt is so pretty. Great outfits so far. I’ve chosen 16 items so far, but I’m going to cheat and back date it to the start of the month. I don’t expect it to be hard at all, 30 items seems heaps. Makes me realise I have way too many items of clothing, but meh, it’s fun to have options.

I don’t think I could manage wearing only 30 items of my wardrobe for 30 days. But it seems that you do great with your challenge!

I’m drawn to the idea of doing the 30 for 30 but knowing that I would not be able to wear anything that I had just bought and that I had not included would “do my head in” and I’d feel like I wasn’t getting my moneys worth out some of my items. I’d thought about doing it on paper as an exercise – test the theory before jumping in but nop … still can’t do it. So I will sit back and watch you make this look a breeze :o)

It’s incredible how you managed to create very different looks from a small cool of clothes. Just goes to show that one can truly make do with a small wardrobe.

You are probably wearing everything I’ve ever been and ever will be obsessed with ever in one outfit. I don’t even know where to begin fawning over this, because I am so blown away by how perfect I think it is.

First. That sweater is more than I want out of life. The way it droops and hangs and looks thick and heavy is so gorgeous and somehow both feminine and rustically masculine at the same time.

The fact that you wear it over a lace skirt is so inspired. I really love the layering of different lengths, but especially the difference in textures and vibes. This has really made me want to try something like this.

The skirt is simplisticlaly perfect and figure flattering. And the shoes. Oh the shoes. if I could afford one thing in life, it would be A wang shoes. Those are so versatile, but absolutely the chicest things on Earth.

Oh. And obviously I’d sell a child for a PS bag.

Ooh I love your knit ! Looks so warm & comfy, but elegant. 🙂 Not slouchy at all, and love it with the skirt.
