Top fives of 2014

It’s hard to believe that 2014 is at an end. It feels like only yesterday I was packing up my suitcases for Sydney, and saying ‘see you soon’ to some of my most nearest and dearest. A few quick blinks of the eye and Christmas has come and gone – how time flies when you’re having fun (or muddling your way about a new city).

It’s been a year filled with new (and often exciting) experiences, and near as many – if not more – favourites picked up along the way. So in a similar vein to last year, I thought I’d attempt to pick out my top five. My top five wardrobe pieces, beauty essentials, songs, and Sydney-side eateries. I should warn you that I have terrible taste in music (Where the Party At by Jagged Edge has been playing somewhat on repeat lately – it is summer after all), and I’m very much a Bondi girl at heart when it comes to eating out, so be prepared for a little bit of bias there…

4. North Bondi Fish, 120 Ramsgate Avenue, North Bondi NSW 2026

So, there you have it. Easy wardrobe classics, cult beauty favourites, a musical mixed bag, and a list of brunch & dinner spots which are bound to be crowdpleasers. If you have any of your own favourites that you’d like to share in the comments below, feel free (actually, I encourage you to) – especially when it comes to Sydney cafes, I’m always up for a new culinary adventure. Wishing you all a safe and happy New Year; see you in 2015!!
