Everlane sale - key pieces to invest in
Everlane link stitch sweater
Everlane oversized wool blazer
Everlane air collarless blouse

This never happens. And I mean never. But, one of my favourite go-to brands for basics – Everlane – is currently offering 25% off site wide, until this Friday. I’m planning to stock up on a few of my favourites; namely the air cami, the pima rib tank, a t-shirt or two, and perhaps one of their classic cashmere crew sweaters. Below I’ve popped a quick round up of some of my most worn basics from the brand, in case you’re feeling a little lost about where to even begin. Trust me when I say this is a sale that’s not worth missing out on.

1: wearing Everlane alpaca sweater, Boden shorts, Cuyana half moon bag
2: wearing Everlane link stitch sweater, Everlane cheeky straight jeans, JW Anderson bag
3: wearing Frame tee (old but love this one), Everlane cheeky straight jeans, Everlane oversized wool blazer
4: wearing Everlane air collarless shirt, J.Crew denim skirt (old but this is cute), JW Anderson bag

My top picks from Everlane

EVERLANE PIMA MICRO RIB TANK: I got this in white for the summer, and it turned out to be a major winner. The pima micro rib line has fast become a favourite. It washes well, has a lot of stretch, and is incredibly comfortable to wear. I wear this tank in an XS.

EVERLANE LINEN RELAXED SHIRT: Linen to me is such a good spring/summer wardrobe essential. I got this shirt around about a year ago now, and it’s a classic staple for me day to day. If you go up a few sizes, you could also wear it as a beach cover up. I wear this shirt in a US2.

EVERLANE TWISTED MERINO CARDIGAN: I wore this a lot throughout the late stages of my pregnancy. Because it doesn’t have buttons, it’s a really nice throw on piece. Super soft merino wool (blended with cotton and linen), and the speckled thread running throughout makes it feel really special. I wear this cardigan in a size S.

EVERLANE OVERSIZED ALPACA CREW: Despite initially being on the fence about the alpaca sweater, this has become one of my most worn pieces during the colder months. I have both the almond and charcoal colours, and find that the almond version is softer and feels much more comfortable against the skin. The puffed balloon sleeves is probably my favourite detail. I wear this in a size S.

EVERLANE CHEEKY STRAIGHT JEAN: One of my absolute favourites from the brand, it was these jeans that got me out of exclusively wearing a skinny leg style. I’d say that these have more of a slim, tapered leg (as opposed to being a straight skinny). My favourite wash is the bone. This has some give to the fabric so will stretch out with multiple wears (snapping back after a wash). If you want a tighter fit, I’d recommend sizing down from your usual. I wear these in a size 25, ankle length. If you prefer a rigid fit, the 90s cheeky straight are also awesome.

EVERLANE OVERSIZED WOOL BLAZER: Earlier this year I shared a rundown of my most worn items for 2019, and it was no surprise that this blazer made the cut. The herringbone pattern on the wool exterior is a subtle touch but one that elevates the otherwise basic silhouette a notch. I usually got for a US2 in the brand’s outerwear, and find that gives me a perfect oversized, but not too big fit. As mentioned, I wear this blazer in a US2.

EVERLANE ITALIAN REWOOL OVERCOAT: I’ve mentioned this a few times, but for someone who lives in a relatively warm climate, I have a lot of coats. And out of them all, this one sits in the cream of the crop. It’s much weightier than the cocoon coat, so feels nice and warm on. I love the structured nature of the silhouette, the length hits me around the knee which I think is perfect, and it’s a style that won’t date. I wear this in a size US2.

EVERLANE DAY GLOVE REKNIT: If you’re looking for a comfortable pair of shoes, the first ones I’ll recommend are the reknit day gloves. These work regardless of whether you have narrow or wide feet. I think it’s innovative to see what is essentially a woven shoe, fabricated from recycled plastic bottles, and the rubber sole gives you tread while feeling light on your feet. These are the perfect run around shoe for every day. I take these in my usual Everlane shoe size, a US9.5.

EVERLANE BOSS BOOT: The other pair of shoes I’d recommend is their boss boot. I’ve had mine since they launched a couple of years back, and they only get better with age. The pebbled leather softens, and crinkles across the vamp, and the block heel is super comfortable to walk reasonably long distances in. I ended up selling my Acne jensen boots in favour of these. Again, I take these in a US9.5. I wear a US9 and an EU40 in other shoe brands.

EVERLANE MINI FORM BAG: Finally, I wanted to round things out with a bag. I’ve tried a number from the brand over the years, and my favourite is probably the mini form bag. My essentials are pretty pared back, so I favour bags that aren’t too cumbersome in size. The utilitarian strap works really well with this more compact style, and I love the sand shade that I have it in. It’s the perfect beige-nude hue.

I’m soooo tempted to get a few things! Bit I’m trying really hard to not buy unnecessary things at the moment since people are already bogging down our mail people with bulk amazon orders of toilet paper… *sigh*
Another brand I love is doing a crazy sale and I want to support them but I just can’t bring myself to pull the trigger just yet…we’ll see how I feel in a couple weeks when I’m really craving some shopping

Wanted to try Everlane for the longest time and finally pulled the trigger. The sale covers taxes and duties (I’m living in Germany, so there would be no refund) and just ordered jumpers so I’m pretty safe with the sizes. Ordered the Alpaca Crew in the almond and pomona shade. Super excited!

Ahh that’s so exciting! I saw that orders are slightly delayed going out (I stocked up on a few basic layering pieces), but would love to know what you think of the alpaca crew. I have the almond and it’s easily one of the most wearable pieces in my autumn/winter wardrobe x
