In the middle of last year, I filmed a winter capsule lookbook, comprised of my most reached for pieces of the season. For me, each of the items I included represented a core staple that I find myself relying on when the weather is cold (thermals notwithstanding). I loved these outfits so much, that I wanted to share these looks once again, for my Northern Hemisphere friends. Instead of the 20+ minute video I’d originally filmed, I cut it down to under 3 minutes, focusing on several key themes.
It probably goes without saying, but these are all outfits tailored to a milder climate, reflecting where I live; Sydney, Australia. Though they’re easily tweaked for colder weather. Add a base layer of heat tech and swap out the slingback shoes for a nice boot with a high shaft. Easy!
