aesop skincare facial cleanser diptyque do son parfum perfume

Aesop facial cleanser, Aesop B&T Toner, Aesop resurrection hand balm, Diptyque DoSon eau de parfum

I’m not usually the first to rush to the beauty counter, but I couldn’t resist dropping by Aesop and Mecca on the way home. Initially, I’d just planned on replenishing my dwindling skincare supply, yet after a good 45 minutes trawling through the shelves in Mecca, I ended up with a new perfume and several (much-needed) hair products.

I’ve previously posted about my experience using Grown Alchemist, yet after months of use, have ascertained that the cleanser is not strong enough for my skin, and the toner is just a little too astringent for my liking. Every Aussie girl extols the many virtues of Aesop, so there was no question in my mind as to where to look next. With a comprehensive selection of cleansing, toning, and moisturising options, it’s hard to even know where to start – thankfully, their team is incredibly helpful, tailoring a cleansing regime to your skin. I’m usually pretty wary when it comes to trying new products – but have been using Aesop for the past couple of weeks with no complaints. For reference, I have fairly normal skin and tend to prefer gentle (yet hard-working) cleansers and relatively mild toners and I went for the Fabulous Face cleanser and the B&Tea Balancing toner.

Of course I couldn’t go past picking up a tube of their Resurrection Aromatique hand cream – the scent is just heavenly! And well… Diptyque, just because.

Loooove Doson! I’ve wanted the solid perfume for the longest time. And yay for Aesop goodies! The Fabulous Face Oil is high on my wishlist. x

I have wanted a Diptyque perfume for a while now but still can’t decide which scent to get. I love Aesop, the stores and packaging are beautiful and they are very generous with samples.

It’s pretty hard to decide although all down to personal choice. I thought I’d end up with a different one but Doson appealed to me the most !
