Everlane is shipping to Australia… permanently!

everlane shipping internationally australia

Now I’m always up for a bit of healthy competition… so when Everlane turned the last month of international shipping into a competition, I was all in. I mean, the prize offered the winning country – the one with the most votes – the chance to get international shipping, for good. So, it’s with a lot of excitement that I can share the news that Australia has come out on top, and will be the third permanent shipping destination offered by Everlane *cue happy dance*.

I think you all know how smitten I’ve become with the brand over the last few years; I’ve posted my fair share of reviews and there’s few days in the week that I don’t reach for one of my beloved silk cami’s (or cashmere sweaters when it’s cold!). There’s been a lot of new styles added to the site since its humble beginnings, so for those of you still new to the site – or just not sure where to start – I thought I’d share some of my ultimate favourite picks from Everlane below.

THE HEELED CHELSEA BOOT
If I had to pick a current favourite shoe, then this would be it. Cut low across the ankle, with a solid chunky heel, and a rounded almond shaped toe, these are everything I could ever want from a chelsea boot. The leather is pretty sturdy and as with my usual experience with shoes from Everlane, they fit on the narrower side so if you have wide feet like me, wear them around the house with thick socks for a few days to help relax the leather – your feet will thank me for it!

THE CASHMERE CREW SWEATER
I don’t think that there’s been a single post about Everlane in which I haven’t mentioned their luxuriously soft cashmere sweater. Mine’s still going strong more than two years later, and it’s the kind of piece that I think has just gotten better with age.

THE TWILL ZIPPER TOTE
I’ve mentioned this one a few times before but this is my go-to bag for those mornings where I’m heading to work, and I want to take more than just the essentials with me. The cotton twill is hardy, and the leather straps show no sign of wear, even though I’ve had the bag more than six months now.

THE LONG ZIP WALLET
One of the newer additions to my wardrobe, the bright poppy red hue has been a ray of sunshine and such a departure from my usual minimal-esque colour palette. I love that this has heaps of card slots (11 at last count), plus it comfortably fits a passport, making it the perfect travelling companion.

THE SILK CAMISOLE
This is one of those wardrobe essentials that I just couldn’t live without. I picked this up in all three colours and I find myself wearing this style at least once a week – it works perfectly for the office (thankfully bare shoulders are allowed!) and also doubles up well as a more luxe lazy weekend piece.

THE HEAVYWEIGHT TEE IN STRIPE
It’s heating up here in Sydney which means I’m not reaching for the snuggly cardigans or oversized sweaters quite so often, but when I do, it’s often this striped beauty. It’s 100% cotton, but has a nice hefty weight to it, and being striped, goes with just about everything.

THE SLIDE SANDAL
My love for these slides runs deep… even if admittedly they’re aren’t quite so kind to ultra-wide feet like mine, but I’ll forgive them for that! The ‘sand’ shade has been a nice alternative to black and works really well with anything that has a hint of blush pink or red in it.

Super excited about this! I’ve never picked up anything during the international shipping windows as they never happen when I want something, but it’ll be nice to know I can get something from Everlane whenever I want to now. I’m going to NYC in January so I’ll probably hit up the showroom to try on everything, haha.

Off topic but how do you wear skirts and dresses in the winter when it’s freezing out? Do you stick to trousers or do you wear fleece lined tights? It’s going to be a chilly winter in Canada and I’m brainstorming a warm capsule.
