This Christmas, it’s home and decor that I’m most enthusiastic about. Might have something to do with our current renovation… But I digress, it’s another great idea to gift to a loved one. A lot of my favourites tend to toe that line between aesthetics and functionality. A little bit of colour thrown in here and there to add warmth and excitement. Quirky touches which make a house a home.

If I had to narrow it down, my top four picks would be… a beautiful yearly planner; this one is a partnership between Sisters&Co and Made of Tomorrow, and it is truly divine. It’s made using recycled coffee cups, and is a great choice if you want to combine your schedule with your intentions for the year – something I like to track in tandem.

Second – and not pictured above – is the Our Place Always Pan. I purchased ours via Selfridges (a great option if you live in Australia like me, as they’re yet to ship here direct), and it’s been one of my favourite buys of the year. We use ours every other day, if not daily, and it still looks like new. Also helps that it’s currently on sale. We’re thinking about also purchasing the cast iron pan to round out our collection .

Dippy eggs have become a major feature on our breakfast menu this year, but even more so since getting these beautiful egg cup sets from In The Roundhouse. Not just for Christmas, but these would also be a beautiful wedding gift; one each for the bride and groom. We absolutely adore their dinnerware, too. The little lip at the edge of the plates adds a touch of luxury, and the prints range from minimally classic, to playful and fun.

Finally I wanted to highlight this beautiful cosmetics organiser from Joseph Joseph. The brand is combines utilitarian requirements with aesthetic design in such an effortless way. The various compartments are really good sizes, that you can easily fit your everyday makeup and then some inside. I like that there’s a lower drawer, too. A good place to pop any bits you aren’t using regularly.

Below, I’ve added some more of my favourite picks, and again, some items that are currently on my wishlist for our home. The image is fully shoppable, otherwise you can click through to the products via the carousel at the bottom of this post.
