The mule sandal

Opening Ceremony Jindo heeled sandals (in black or the flat version)

More sandals for winter – goes against the grain a little, doesn’t it? But given that in mid-July a jacket-less, bare legs excursion outdoors is not out of the question, I’d almost peg them as an evening necessity. Whilst I’m not generally one to give in to the trends of the season, a little bit of forward planning never hurt, especially when you’re buying on sale. Never mind the fact that 75% of my sale purchases just so happened to be shoes…

I’ve already found plenty of excuses to get some wear out of these space age mules, from dressing up a casual sweatshirt and jeans combo to balancing out a full midi skirt. And for all those years I thought I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing a pair of mules? Lesson learned; never say never.

I love how modern these look and how it has no hint of the 1990s often associated with mules! x

Right?! I’d thought about getting the Topshop ones but I think this was the better choice 🙂
