Country Rd chambray shirt (similar), girl. by Band of Outsiders skirt, Karen Walker x Beau Coops loafers (similar), KW & SGC rings, MBMJ katie bracelet, Proenza Schouler PS11 bag

I’ve been getting plenty of mileage out of this skirt over the summer months, more so than I expected during the moment I was impulse buying it from the Forward by Elyse Walker online store, and I’m hoping that the same can be said of these cream and minty toned loafers I recently picked up. I know that white tones aren’t exactly at the forefront of your typical winter colour palette, and usually, and generally doesn’t make much of an appearance on mine, except for the occasional white blouse, but I have a feeling this year will be different. Rather unfortunately, I’ve already managed to get watermarks on the smooth mint leather, but considering the nature of the shoe, I’d like to think that this is just an added quirk rather than a shoe nightmare.

Having spent the last couple of weeks feeling like I’ve had little time to actually prepare meals, I’m looking forward to some much needed cooking therapy this weekend. On my list are homemade hummus, a spiced tofu salad (which I miraculously discovered, having at some point saved the image from tumblr to my pc!), scalloped potatoes for L, and a beetroot, feta & quinoa salad. Trying to get my salad fix in before the seasons dictate a change to a more rustic focused weekly menu of soups, casseroles/stews, and roasted veggies. Happy weekend!

Aaah! I love it. What gorgeous colours! That is what I want to be wearing right now. Lovely spring like colours but I am in navy and black today and about to set off out in a pair of wellies as we have had another drop of snow. Booo! Wonderful perfect look – might be borrowing this look :o)

The shoes are amazing, the degrade looks so cool! I wouldn’t worry about watermarks either, they’re bound to happen 🙂

Well, I think the color co,binational is rather lovely actually, a great look for early spring. Personally, I’m one to stick with more ‘winter’ colors year round, haha. I love those loafers!

I also love white in a winter colour pallet, reminds me of snow and icicles! I’d love to see some lighter and brighter colours in winter collections. Those loafers are a lovely colour!
