New Year’s Eve

Lover mini wiccan lace dress (similar), Acne cardigan, YSL clutch (similar), Givenchy heels, Marc by Marc Jacobs bracelet, SGC bow ring

Finished 2012 off on a high note, spending the evening enjoying a 10 course degustation (vegetarian for me) at The Whitehouse, followed by drinks with some friends, wearing none other than one of my favourite labels, Lover. Having spent many of the past few NYE nights doing the overseas thing, the festival thing, and on a few occasions, working, I really relish the opportunity to have what I consider to be a low key night, ringing in the year with glasses of bubbly and smiles all round.

The first day of 2013 was spent with family, in what has been a long-standing traditional Greek lunch at my grandparents house, with enough food to feed a small army. I had the good fortune of receiving the “tihiri” in my piece of tiritopita, which symbolises good luck for the year. 2012 was a year in which I forged a lot of wonderful memories, and I look forward to what 2013 has in store for me. A new year always seems to signify a fresh start, or new beginnings, so on that note, I want to wish you all the best for 2013!

Happy New Year! A glass of bubbly is the best way to ring in the new year;)

Love that dress on you. It’s utterly gorgeous. I’m such a sucker for extravagant lace. There was a lace dress by lover that I adored this year.

Don’t know what to say apart from that is the most perfect outfit and I want all of it! The fact that it’s not black says it all – and who could have thought such a pale palette would work so beautifully and stand out like that. It’s bewitching. I’ve always wondered what you dress up in for a special night out as your day to day look is quite ornate (jewellery and shoes) and this is what you pull out of the bag! Fabulous!

You look incredible, Jamie-Lee! Those gold heels of yours – utterly divine. I had no idea you’re of Greek descent. I’ve spent quite a bit of time in Greece and even learned the language (promptly forgot 99% of it after a few years).
