Te Awanga road trip

1: Karen Walker sparkle college sweatshirt (similar), Isabel Marant shorts (similar), Karen Walker sunglasses
2: Lover bikini, Topshop sandals
3: Celine me Alone t-shirt, Isabel Marant shorts (similar), T by Alexander Wang cardigan

Luke and I started off our long weekend with a road trip up the coast to Te Awanga, to celebrate a friend’s birthday before she left on her overseas adventure. While short and sweet, I’m pretty sure I packed in enough delicious food, homemade punch, quick trips across to the beach and fun times had with friends to last the whole weekend. Having never been to the Hawke’s Bay before, I spent most of the time in the car questioning why I didn’t live there, surrounded by all kinds of fruits trees that you could imagine, and days of endless sunshine. While I might be back in reality now, the fact that it’s Easter brings out a childlike quality in me which is only sated by eating excessive quantities of easter eggs.

What a lovely trip. With Easter… me too! Way too much chocolate and hot cross buns. I’m addicted to those. I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip and had a great Easter.

Easter eggs are the BEST type of chocolate! I’ve never been to Hawkesbay but it’s definitely on the list. They do good wine there?

Oh, how beautiful is the landscape in these? They’re making me want to go travel, it’s so picturesque! Very jealous it’s still warm enough for shorts there, if it doesn’t warm up soon here I think I’m gonna have to book an early holiday to get some sun! Hope you had a lovely Easter! 🙂
