Video: My beauty favourites

So I thought I’d try something a little different for a change – a video blog of my current favourite beauty products. I have to admit, I’d never realised the actual amount of effort that goes into making a video blog, and the amount of time required to edit it to achieve the desired end result. The only thing still eluding me (three hours later), is how to maintain the same quality in the upload from the actual recorded video. Seeming natural isn’t an easy task, but eight takes later, and a little too much time spent cringing over my Kiwi accent, I think I finally got there. I’m hoping to try and make this a regular feature, so if there’s anything in particular that you would like to see (in video form), let me know in the comments below! x

This was such a fun change! Loved seeing all the products you’re loving right now!
I need to start cleaning my brushes more often, but it’s just such a hassle!
I’m not sure I could ever do a talking video, I just hate my voice so much, ha ha. But I did do a few video outfits in the past, those were fun 🙂

Thank you Megan! I though the same thing after listening to myself – and some of the phrases I wouldn’t normally use so there’s also that…

I’m REALLY lazy about cleaning my brushes so this has made it a LOT easier!

You did such a great job for your first time, and I totally think that you should make this a regular feature for sure. There’s just something about hearing and seeing someone talking about products that just adds that extra something. Way to go girl! 🙂

Thank you Theresa! It’s definitely a lot harder than it looks. Hopefully I’ll be able to do a few more review style pieces, and I think I’m doing a duo video with a friend back in Wellington 🙂
