Everlane boyfriend sweater, Frame Denim jeans, Opening Ceremony mules, Karen Walker coat, Cuyana tote bag (similar), Acne canada scarf

I never thought I’d be one of those sweatshirts and denim kinda girls. Well, not since my teenage years at least, but I’ve well and truly succumbed to the allure of a washed out, crisp pair of denim. Weekend adventures often call for more than a velvet kitty flat and a PVC skirt; instead, my uniform of choice has been a soft silk blouse, one of Everlane’s cosy boyfriend sweatshirts, and a pair of low heeled mules – because why not take advantage of Sydney’s mild winter weather?

And as a PSA to all those looking to build on their winter wardrobe, or get a head start on their summer one (if you’re from the Southern Hemisphere, that is), Net-A-Porter are currently offering an additional 20% off with code SALE20 and you can nab an extra 20% off sale items at Matches Fashion with EXTRA20, including this Lover lace skirt, which at 70% off, is more than a bargain!

You actually look very adorable, natural and relaxed in an outfit with jeans & a sweater!

Love this! I’ve fallen back into the sweatshirt thing too, they’re just so comfy!
I wish Matches didn’t charge duties on their items, if they didn’t I would totally shop the sale! Maybe I still will, depending on what I find…

Would you mind commenting on the fit of the boyfriend sweatshirt? I’m a 10-12 and tossing up between the M and the L, cheers.

I’m a size 8 (AU) and I purchased the boyfriend sweater in the XS. It’s a slightly loose fit but not too oversized on me which was what I was after. I’m planning to do a pretty in depth review on Everlane at some point, just haven’t gotten to it yet. Thank you for the gentle reminder – and good luck with choosing a size, it’s possibly the best cut sweatshirt I’ve ever owned! x

I steered clear of sweatshirts for so many years after being forced to wear an awful bottle green one for my school uniform, but I’ve recently started loving them too. There’s always such an appeal to classic pieces like that I think. I love yours, it looks really soft. The mules are gorgeous too!
