Birthday edition

One of the things that I love most about Wellington is the number of small hidden away bars and cafes that are virtually invisible until you stumble across them. Pretty ideal when your birthday falls on Sevens weekend, and are attempting to find a spot where you can avoid all the ruckus. Turning 25 isn’t as scary as people make it out to be, especially when you’re in the company of good friends, with some delicious food and drinks to help pass the time by. A surprisingly welcome change from the relaxed family dinner the night before. Birthday’s often to me, like the start of the year, seem to be a time for reflection. This year though, I’m focusing more on the future than what the past year may have brought me.

You would love Melbourne then, famous for all the laneways bars that you would never know were there.

Happy Bday!! I smile at your flats every time you post them – so cute.

And no 25 is nothing to be scared about. Just wait until you turn 30! :p

I’m 25 in August, and although I found it kinda scary to begin with, the closer it’s getting the more relaxed I feel about it. I still feel pretty scared that 30 is getting closer though! Hah.
