It doesn’t look like Summer

AS Colour black l/s top, Karen Walker jacquard skirt, Whistles quilted leather jacket, Alexander Wang kori oxfords, Proenza Schouler PS11 bag, Marc by Marc Jacobs ‘katie bracelet, Juliet & Company necklace, Adia Kibur stacking rings

While our Trans-Tasman neighbours started their Summer off with a heat wave, I found myself rugged up in faux leather leggings and an oversized sweater, snuggled under a duvet for good measure. The following day saw me don tights and a leather jacket, turning on the heather for some extra, and much needed, warmth. Not a great start, yet hopefully not an indicator of what is to come. Faced with windy and rainy weather, I ended up channelling my inner geek, spending approximately 99% of my weekend playing video games and about 1% of the weekend paying any attention to my boyfriend, or to Max for that matter. It seems like the addition of a jumper to my Summer wardrobe is well-timed, not only due to the prolonged cold weather, but also the sudden flux of sales. And while I am already feeling prematurely triumphant in detecting a new jumper might be needed, on the other side of the coin, a summer without requiring jumpers would be most welcome.

You look so stylish! Love how you paired the biker leather jacket with the brocade skirt. LOL! I had no idea that you’re a video game lover. My brother used to run weekend sessions with his friends. Drove their wives nuts as none of the dads paid any attention to their kids.

We had two weeks of decent summer (30-35 degrees) and this morning? this morning it was 6 degrees and it’s 17 right now! Not fun at all. I don’t feel like I’ll get to wear summer clothes until we head out to Queensland or go back to Fiji! Loving that jacquard skirt xoxox
