A week of winter style | Planning vs winging it?

old Celine sweater sezane naelle skirt with The Curated London coat

Five winter outfits, all following simple formulaic combinations; something I mentioned last week. And what this shows is, that despite having a “uniform” rule, there’s no homogeneity here. Each outfit is different, yet still feels put together. When in doubt, a dress is always an easy option. Throw on, and go.

One thing I’m curious to know though, is are you an outfit planner, Meticulously setting aside what you’re planning to wear for the week ahead? Or, do you wing it, letting your outfit be guided by your mood that morning? There’s pros and cons to both, but I find it interesting to hear which route people tend to take. Personally, I do a mix. Earmarking items I’d like to wear throughout the week, and then workshopping the outfit on the day.
