It’s said that Saturday has all the promise of Sunday, without the reality of an early start the following day. But Sunday’s aren’t without their charm. Lazily waking up after 9am, putting on a fresh pot of coffee, before returning to the cosy confines of your bed to catch up on some reading, of the more frivolous kind. This is what Sunday’s are for.
Urge studded sandals It is by no means the season of the sandal, yet, but somehow that little nugget of information is loathe to stop me when shoes are involved, particularly when they’re on sale (heck who am I kidding, especially when they’re on sale). Eerily reminiscent of the sandals I packed for Europe in 2012, I couldn’t believe my luck when I spotted these at David Jones with a deliciously hefty discount. Painstakingly saving every last penny, and forgoing those morning coffees and afternoon pick-me ups just to get there a little quicker. I’ve never been one for waiting; three months seems almost a lifetime when patience is not exactly one of my many virtues. But as they say, some things are worth the wait, and the purchases worth waiting for are usually the most rewarding. The item in question?…
Witchery cable knit sweater, Lover jungle slither skirt, Cuyana leather tote bag The go-to. The ‘because it’s easy’, the ‘because I don’t want summer to end’, the ‘effortlessly thrown on before dashing out the door’. We all have them, those carefully calculated, easily put together looks. It becomes something of a uniform, worn in differing variations on a daily basis; broken down to its purest form it’s your signature, your look. For me, it’s the all too familiar cable knit sweaters, nonchalantly thrown over skirts, dresses – anything that hints of a winter well forgotten. Or if I’m truly being…
