One of my favourite sales of the season has officially kicked off: Shopbop’s ‘Buy More, Save More’ event. I always use this opportunity to pick up a couple of key wardrobe staples that are on the higher end of the price spectrum, and in the past it’s been how I’ve snapped up the perfect white tee, plus I find it’s a good opportunity to try out a new-to-you brand too (like the time I ordered a swimsuit from Marysia swim).

All items marked “Key Style” plus those already on sale are included in the sale. A couple of stand outs for me that I’ve recently added to my wardrobe include this beautiful bohemian-inspired blouse from Nili Lotan, and these crisp tailored shorts from Phillip Lim.

During the sale, you can save 15% off orders of $200+, 20% off orders of $500+ OR 25% off orders of $800 or more using promo code GOBIG19. The sale ends March 2 at 11.59PT.

One thing I’ve learned is that things sell out quickly, so if you’ve got your heart set on something, it’s better to buy now rather than later. And for a PRO TIP; if something you love doesn’t qualify for the promotion, all you have to do is have something in your cart that does to get the discount.

Below, I’ve picked out some of my favourite pieces from a handful of designers I love, which are included in the Shopbop sale.

3.1 BY PHILLIP LIM

Gossip Girl was a pretty big influence on my style circa 2007, and one of the designers I completely fell in love with at the time was 3.1 by Phillip Lim (anyone remember this dress?). More than a decade later, it’s still a brand that I genuinely get excited about each season, both for basics and statement pieces. I mentioned these above but this pair of shorts is hands down one of my current favourites in my wardrobe, and you can snap up 15% off the price of them at the moment.

GANNI

This Danish brand has achieved cult ‘it-girl’ status over the last 12 months, and I totally get the hype. The prints might be wild, but the silhouettes are playful, feminine, and often-times very flattering. My favourite piece included in the sale is this bright red skirt which I loaned last month. The stretch waistband makes this one incredibly comfortable, and the bright red hue is so cheerful yet still a classic shade at the same time.

SAM EDELMAN

Whenever I’m looking for a designer dupe, I’ll usually start with Sam Edelman. I love their take on in-season styles, plus everything I’ve bought has been such high quality, and comfortable too. If you’re on the hunt for a Gucci loafer dupe then I can’t recommend the Loraine loafer enough. I have these in the black and they’re hands down one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own.

MADEWELL

One of my favourite wardrobe staples comes from Madewell; a white cotton short-sleeved shirt, which also happens to be included in the sale. I also really like the quality of their denim, and have heard great things about this leather jacket – which at 20% off is a pretty good deal.

ULLA JOHNSON

I really love the flirtatious and whimsical designs from the brand – there’s lots of romantic florals, and you can see that there’s a lot of attention to detail in every item. Surprisingly, I find myself drawn to the more avant garde options. Give me a bold sleeve, plenty of ruffles, and a fun floral print; the louder, the better.

FRAME

My general rule when it comes to denim is that the high street does it very well. However, if you have the budget and want to invest in something a little more high quality, FRAME is one of the denim brands I’d suggest taking a second look at. I’ve got a few styles on my wishlist, but mostly what I really love is their RTW pieces – which are totally underrated in my opinion. I bought a sweater from FRAME a couple years back and it’s still one of the softest things I own; a splurge in its own right but definitely been worth the investment.

ANINE BING

The final brand I wanted to mention is Anine Bing. I love the designers approach to her own wardrobe, and minimal, edited collections each season. She’s found her style, and doesn’t stray far from it – something that I really admire. Her vintage-inspired band tees are cult favourites, as are her blazers. I’ve currently got this one on my wishlist.
