I always feel like the finer details can so easily be glossed over during fashion week in favor of the bigger picture, which, is fair enough, but there’s something about different textures, bright or bold prints, and the little things that really make an outfit that I’m drawn to. Above are just a few of the detail shots I managed to snap during MBFWA 2013 – if it’s shoes you’re after, I did a post a little while ago that you can check out here. You can probably hazard a guess as to how extremely underdressed I felt considering my tame outfit choices, although part of the fun of Fashion Week really is the visual or ‘eye’ candy whereever you look.

That tan clutch with the gold copy is so much fun! I always love seeing the detail street style shots 😀

I love these close up shots of quirky accessories. I love how the fashion show attendees are so incredibly well dressed which is NOTHING like the peacocking I see here in London.

Omg, that teapot bag is incredible! Hah! I totally agree, I’m a sucker for detail shots too, sometimes the little details are what make an outfit. Really love the clutch with the gold writing & that black cuff in the last photo is amazing, I want it!
