I couldn’t help but take the opportunity to bust out this little off-the-shoulder number and bare a bit of skin on our second to last day in the US. Truth be told, the previous two weeks had been pretty much all about the basics; simple white tees with a black denim skirt, oversized cotton shirts worn with denim shorts… you get where I’m going with this.

This was definitely one of those ‘wild cards’ in my suitcase; it’s been a wardrobe favourite since I picked it up a few months back (it’s off the shoulder and it’s pink !!) and I’ll jump at just about any excuse to throw this on – even if that means lugging it halfway around the world for opportunity to strike.

Injecting your personal style into your travel wardrobe is by no means an easy task, particularly when you’re planning to spend 80% of your day on your feet, and given that the thought of wearing nothing but a t-shirt and shorts day in and day out for three weeks isn’t quite up my alley, I found it was all about those wild card favourites… and anything pink, of course.
