It’s been a little quiet around here, but I figured the best opportunity – if ever – to take a little time to get re-energised for the year ahead was during the short summer break over the Christmas and New Year. Like last year, we had a stay-cation, although instead of exploring our city, we decided to spend most of it at home, relaxing and getting a bit of sun. I also had my sister drive up from Canberra to spend NYE with us, so it was nice to have that time off and really enjoy hanging out with her (and making many jokes along the way).
I’ve been working on – what I think is – an exciting video series for my YouTube channel on the 10 essentials every woman should have in her wardrobe, which I’m planning to share on this space too but just in a different format. I’ve definitely placed a larger focus on producing video content (it’s seriously addictive) over the last six months, and to those of you who have watched, liked, and subscribed – thank you!
This year is going to be a year of huge challenges, exciting adventures, and some of the most special memories I could ever hope to have, and I’m looking forward to sharing some of that with you all, as the year goes on; thank you all so much for your support, and here’s to 2016!

Yep, this is definitely the time of year for a blogging break, especially since a lot of people go off the grid for a bit.
Can’t wait for more videos this year! Yours are always so great. I wish I was confident enough to do videos. I always feel stupid talking to a camera!

Yay! You are one of my favorite Youtubers/Bloggers and a bunch of the minimalists online seem to produce very little content, which, of course, I appreciate considering the philosophy but does not help when I want more, not less. LOL. Interested in your recommendations. I feel like your niche is luxury minimalism, BTW, and that’s something I want to move toward myself.

I definitely subscribe to the belief of quality over quantity; I’ve found that my wardrobe has been lasting the distance, and it’s almost impossible not to feel good in something that is cut and fits well.
This outfit is so perfectly put together – everything works so well and those shoes are to die for!
So excited to see all the content you create this year, you keep stepping everything up year after year and I know this one is going to smash it out of the park too!
