A typical Saturday morning usually involves waking up slow, a fresh cold pressed juice, a walk down to the beach, and if Luke and I are up to it, a very late breakfast (or lunch) at one of our favourite cafés in Bondi. Today, I definitely didn’t wake up slow. With the temperature slated to reach 26C by lunch time, it’s not exactly the kind of weather that was going to keep me confined indoors. An early start meant I could go for a brisk jog/run for an hour before the heat of the day, with time to pick up…
image source: The Every Girl If I had a loft, with washed wooden floors, high ceilings, and exposed brick walls, I imagine it would look a little like this. Well, maybe more a lot like this. Stylist, Designer, Wardrobe Consultant, and Blogger, Madelynn Furlong wears many hats, and she wears them well. Her Minneapolis apartment is a minimalist’s dream; a Scandi-sanctuary that you could well and truly live in, and don’t get me started on that light. Luke and I have almost finished furnishing our apartment – an effort which has taken up much of the year, considering I find…
OPI in ‘going my way or Norway’ I’ve been using OPI’s Going my way or Norway a lot as of late; it’s the new nude. Earthy, rich, and as far as I’m concerned, universally flattering. It’s safe, but not quite so safe as a classic red – and not quite as expected. Shop the new nudes:
Acne white slim t-shirt, Dion Lee skirt, Acne mape leather jacket, Charlotte Olympia ‘gemini’ flats, Celine trio (in blush or similar) And just like that, I’m home. Holidays always seem to go by so quickly, and even more so when you’re having a lot of fun. I came home a little more exhausted than I left, although I suppose that’s to be expected when you try and cram in something for every waking minute of the day. Flying back to Sydney, I managed to realise the flaw in bringing four pairs of shoes, especially when leaving with six (shoes are…
Considering that our last overseas holiday is more than two years behind us (time really does fly, doesn’t it? – pun intended), I’ve spent the last six months furiously planning where we might go next. And with so many friends jet setting to the other side of the world, I haven’t been short on inspiration. But what really inspired me wasn’t the beautiful European landscapes, or the fast paced escapades of New York, but instead, Michelle’s two week jaunt to Japan, onsens, dumplings and all. With all of life’s twists and turns, we don’t have dates locked in just yet,…
