If there’s one thing I have a soft spot for, it’s a new pair of shoes, and it’s generally the first category I browse if I’ve been having a stressful day, or just want to do a little bit of window shopping. What can I say, shoes are my thing. And as I get a lot of requests to share my shoe collection on my YouTube channel, I recently filmed an update featuring all the shoes I’ve added to my wardrobe over the last 13 months or so. It’ll probably shock you (as much as it did me!), that this numbered over 20 pairs of shoes, which is nigh on excessive, regardless of the fact that I regularly share my outfits online. As a quick caveat before you jump into the video, I was sent a number of pairs which feature in this shoe collection update, and I’m sure to highlight which is which as I talk through the pros and cons of each shoe.
Some of my favourite pairs of shoes that I’ve added to my wardrobe over the last year include these Givenchy-inspired sandals from Vince Camuto, the Everlane editor slingback flats* (you can review my full review HERE), the Maryam Nassir Zadeh ‘sophie’ sandals (well worth the investment – these are a dream to wear) and the FRANKiE4 ‘jackie’ sneakers* (which are incredibly comfortable). I wish I added that many shoes to my closet! I think I maybe added 10 in the last year. Still pretty good but man do I love shoes! So many great pairs here

Hi Jamie, I was wondering what the sizing is like for your MNZ sandals? I would like to invest in a pair of MNZ or Marais USA sandals for next summer but I’m a little concerned with ordering online when it’s tough to find a good return policy for these brands.

Hi Amalia, I went for my usual size, an EU40 and they fit perfectly. I haven’t tried the pumps though I’ve heard those do stretch out so it’s best to size down with them. The sandals on the other hand, true to size for sure! 🙂
