OOTD: Oversized shirt + tailored trousers

Sharing the details of a quick little OOTD today, which I wore earlier this week. You’ve probably noticed I’ve developed a penchant for more relaxed silhouettes, and this easy outfit pairing has fast become a uniform of mine.

I prefer to keep the core pieces of the outfit monochromatic or tonal. In this case, all black. Choosing to add in any elements of interest through accessories. The two-tone pumps added in that additional visual texture, while still feeling relatively subdued. Shirts like this can feel a little shapeless when worn buttoned up, so I’ll do up just a handful in the centre, and often half tuck the shirt into whatever I’m wearing on my lower half. In this case, a pair of slim fitting cropped trousers; perfect for balancing out the silhouette!
