Weekly Wishlist: Shopbop Sale

Happy Sunday! Hope you’ve been having an incredible week, and if you’re in Sydney/NSW like I am, that you’re staying safe with the new lockdown and restrictions. I thought today I’d introduce a new series called the “weekly wishlist”. The idea is that each week – typically on a Friday – I’ll pull five favourites to share with you. Whether it’s some sale picks, or a selection of the same item (like loafers…!). I always, and I mean always come across great finds and this felt like a fun way to share these in a bite-sized way. So to kick things off, I wanted to start with some sale picks from Shopbop. The image above is shoppable, otherwise links will also be below.

Ganni Rib Knit Pullover | You might say I have a bit of an unhealthy obsession with knitwear. I’m pretty much set when it comes to “core” silhouettes, so have recently being finding myself drawn to unusual or different silhouettes. I loved this one from Ganni because it incorporates both a fun texture (rib knit), with interesting details (cut out back, ruffles on shoulder, peplum hem). If you prefer classic silhouettes, then this oversized knit is a beautiful option in super lush cashmere.

Enza Costa Silk Rib Cardigan Dress | A minimalist’s dream, how beautiful is this silk rib knit dress from Enza Costa? Styles like this are great layering pieces as you can also wear them loose too. Alternative you could play around with adding a chunkier knit over top for extra warmth.

Regina Pyo Isla Sandals | Another weakness of mine? Good shoes. I’ve been eying up these Regina Pyo mules for a good wee while now. Chocolate brown is a colour I’ve started to look to incorporate into my wardrobe, as it pairs back so well with easy neutrals. The low kitten heel looks very walkable; plus the simple style makes them a good option for pairing with lots of different outfits.

Wandler Georgia Bag | One of my girlfriends has this bag, and every time we catch up, I always admire it. It has interchangeable straps so you can have a cute baguette, or a longer crossbody. And despite the “slight” accordion style side profile, the interior is one simple pocket; something I look for in those smaller to medium sized bags.

Isabel Marant Etoile Parana Shorts | Rounding things out with these paper bag waist shorts from Isabel Marant Etoile. Early last year I bought a couple of wrap skirts from the brand in the same thick cotton canvas. And I have to say, the quality is exceptional. It’s thick and durable, plus washes so well. The silhouette is fun here, again. There’s a bit of volume at the leg opening, which I think is both interesting and flattering. And you get even more shape with the cinched in waist.
