Everlane silk cami, Lover the Label ‘jupiter’ midi skirt, Valentino rockstud kitten heels, Cuyana tote bag (similar) Today I had a realization – not a groundbreaking one – but it occurred to me that I’ve been living in Sydney for close to a year now, and yet I feel like there’s still so much more of this city that I haven’t experienced, streets I haven’t lazily wandered down, suburbs I’m yet to eat my way through. That saying really is true, time does fly when you’re having fun. Given that it’s Friday (or Fri-Yay! depending on which way you look…
Givenchy Le Rouge Lipstick in ‘Brun Vintage’ I’ll admit it. I caved – completely, utterly, undeniably caved. After a month of semi-stalking Sydney’s Sephora store (I’m not really one to wait in a queue if I can avoid it), I finally ventured in and like any addict, made a beeline for the lipsticks – naturally. January has already been a little heavy on the beauty front for me, but having spent the last month eying up Givenchy’s Le Rouge lipsticks on Escentual, it was a given that I wouldn’t be leaving the store without a tube in my handbag. Josh Goot jacquard a-line mini skirt Confession time: I didn’t completely avoid the sales. While I managed to resist temptation online, too much free…
Forever mourning the end of peony season; this was the last bunch I managed to snag from the markets before the season officially ended. There isn’t anything else quite like ‘em, although to stave off any potential peony-related depression (okay, maybe that’s going a little too far), I’ve taken to picking up a big bunch of sunflowers instead, which has been doing wonders to brighten up our little Bondi apartment.
Everlane grey silk tank, Ellery floral skirt (cheaper alternative), Opening Ceremony mules, Celine cabas tote (cheaper alternative) I’ve been keeping it super simple lately (I’m pretty sure I say this all the time). The same low-heeled sandals when it’s scorching hot (my two pairs of flats are currently out of commission… don’t even ask!), an Everlane sleeveless tank (silk or rayon), and one of three skirts I’ve currently had on heavy rotation – this sleek Ellery floral mini among them. I’ve been trying to inject a little bit more colour into my outfits, rather unsuccessfully, and this is one of…
